Wireless Security Systems vs. Hard-Wired Security Systems

Alarm systems: I began doing a little research on them recently, because I was curious about how different types of alarm systems work. There's some debate going on about which is better: a hard-wired alarm system, or a wireless alarm system.

Let me share what I found.

My family and I had a hard-wired home alarm system in our old house, which we built ourselves. We had the wires for the security system installed as the walls were still going up, which was great because everything was concealed and we never had to worry about drilling holes in our walls.
