A man from Tennessee is serving time in Nebraska for a Lincoln crime involving a bank robbery. Even though the man handed a handwritten note to the bank teller expressing his intent to shoot the employee, the suspect did not cause bodily harm to anyone. The robber received $3,400 for his misguided efforts. It is not known whether the man suffers from memory problems, but he forgot to take his note with him when he fled from the bank. The note contained evidence in the form of a fingerprint. Consequently, officials were able to connect him with a Hattiesburg bank robbery he had committed during the previous week. The man did not need to take a truth serum before he coughed up all the pent up information about his former bank robbery history to officials. The 35-year-old man will serve anywhere from five to 10 years for the bank robbery he committed in Nebraska. Additionally, the man robbed banks in eleven different states across America during his spree. Since the man never used a handgun or any type of weapon during his 11 robberies, his attorney is asking the court to show him a dosage of mercy by permitting him to serve his sentence in Nebraska and Mississippi at the same time.
